100% of raised funds go to project waterfall

Today, 703 million people around the world don’t have access to clean water. The majority live in isolated, rural areas – the same areas growing our coffee. UK Coffee Week raises funds for Project Waterfall, the charity that provides clean water, sanitation and education to coffee-growing communities across the world.

This year, we're raising funds for a project in the Bugesera district of Rwanda that will provide 46,000+ people with clean water and sanitation.

The villages of Mwogo and Juru have a large population of farmers who rely on the land for their livelihoods. The community currently walks hours every day to collect water from the closest lakes. This project will build a new distribution network, piping water from Lake Akagera through an existing treatment plant to new reservoirs and water pump stations in the villages of Mwogo and Juru.
