Just Milk is part of the Sodiaal, one of the largest dairy cooperatives in France.
Sodiaal is a major dairy stakeholder in France, both economically and socially, particularly in areas of demographic decline where other stakeholders are divesting.
We strongly contribute to diversity and agricultural dynamics throughout France. With our 9,564 farms in 72 departments, we embody the shared vision of our cooperative model on a daily basis.
From the most remote mountain hamlet to local communities near processing sites, we collect the milk produced by our members, regardless of the size and location of their farm.
We the Sodiaal Cooperative, a group of French dairy farmers and committed employees, act daily for food and agriculture, respectful of life and contributing to the dynamism of people and regions. Our roots and values guide us and remind us of who we are: a cooperative, built on a solidarity model, to develop and share the best of our dairy regions.
Tomorrow pushes us to develop, together, solutions to the challenges of the agricultural and food transition, by working to:
- Control the impact of our trades on nature and reduce our climate footprint to aim for a positive impact on life and the land – from our member farms and dairies to the final consumer.
- Innovate our packaging and processes for better recyclability and resource circularity.
As a dairy cooperative, involved in its regions and in tune with the times, we do everything we can to shape new dairy horizons.
A company that belongs to its producers, that changes everything!
Our shareholders are working hard every day in the countryside of France. These are the 17,669 farmers of Sodiaal. Much more than milk producers, they are also the owners of the cooperative, its brands and its processing tools. They all hold a share of the capital of the cooperative (known as share capital) and are the only decision-makers.
